    Equalizer: Denzel
    Washington plays former government operative Robert McCall who tries to live a humble life outside of the killing business, but is called back into it. "This a great role for Denzel," says director Antoine Fuqua. "The reluctant hero trying to live life under the radar."
    Fuqua says "The Equalizer" story works in 2014 because people still are in need of heroes to keep people safe from villains like Teddy (Marton Csokas). "People want humble heroes. That want ordinary people they can relate to, connect to, bond with." Here, Teddy pays Mandy (Haley Bennett) a visit.
    Director Antoine Fuqua, left, rehearses a stunt with Denzel Washington and Alex Veadov. Fuqua says Washington is still such a physical actor that he limited the gun work. "We used what was around him. You'd be surprised what he can do with a corkscrew. You'll never open a bottle of wine the same way again."
